As I seem to be on a less than traditional career path (yet to be determined), one of my favorite questions to ask creative friends is how they work and balance their time. I've always loved a bit of a behind the scenes into the creative spaces and ways people work. This Friday, Saturday and Sunday is "Les Portes Ouvertes" or open studios in Paris. Last year I visited and loved the Montreuil studios with Lily of Les Carnets du Design, and am excited to see that I can explore studios in other quartiers. Click here to check out the interactive map. {Thanks for the tip, Lily!}

What an inspiring idea! I'm sure it will be amazing seeing other people's creative spaces.
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome. I would LOVE to be in Paris for its Open Studios.
ReplyDeleteWe have both an East Bay and a San Francisco Open Studios here. Twice per year, I believe.

I participated for three or four years with another artist in the East Bay Open Studios event over the summer. It was always a blast. And she had a great studio space.
