Fun!
ReplyDeleteI do know you must never 'toast' with water.
At least not in France.
not being the world's best drinker one has to learn these things or else.
I just learnt this the other night when drinking with some French friends in Paris last night. They said if you don't make eye contact you will have bad 'bedroom times' for 7 years. Not sure if they were pulling my leg but I'm not going to risk it!
ReplyDeleteI've heard that as well, but not just the French. A lot of Europeans have the same superstition about eye contact when cheersing(?). Also don't cheers with a glass of water and a few others. They definitely weren't pulling your leg.
ReplyDeleteI wasn't aware arms shouldn't cross, thanks!
